Today, I went to Our Lady of Good Counsel (YCDSB) and brought a car load of loose parts for 4.5 kindergarten classes. There is something extra great about a Friday author visit with me. I do bring the fun but also a sense of calm. Students get so caught up in the joy of learning and exploring that voices naturally get quieter and a noticeable peacefulness emerges.
