Yesterday, several Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) were found at a construction site on Jurong Island. The SAF Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was activated to the site and assessed the UXOs to be projectiles and Small Arms Ammunitions (SAA). It was transported offsite and safely disposed by our SAF EOD team at approximately 12pm today. Thailand’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams successfully defused unexploded BM-21 rockets on Wednesday, which had reportedly been fired from the Cambodian side and landed in Nam Yuen district, Ubon Ratchathani province. . One of the rockets was discovered buried approximately one metre underground, close to residential homes. . The EOD team used a controlled detonation with C4 explosives to safely neutralise the device. No damage or injuries were reported in the surrounding area. . Video
