It blows my mind that people still needlessly kill alligator gar and dump them. They have been native here longer than any other fish species. Studies have shown they don’t impact game fish populations and actually control carp and buffalo populations. They are also a line of defense against Asian carp. Killing a 70 year old native fish is despicable. They’re such misunderstood creatures that need more education and protection. | The Fish Whisperer
