We set up our hydrophone to learn how sound moves underwater and the effects it may have on the surrounding environment! 📢 The hydrophones using DVM Waves, carefully selecting the sound frequencies and recording schedules for every hour for 10–15 minutes or every half hour depending on the location. One hydrophone was deployed near the harbour wall by the helicopter pad, right where the fireworks will be launched, while the second was placed in the water basin in front of the Big Wheel to study
