Today in Parliament, I paid tribute to Alsion Roach Wilson, Consul General of Jamaica to New York, a loyal, hard-working, and dedicated public servant who represented Jamaica with honour. Even before her appointment, Alsion devoted herself to philanthropy, including efforts to equip Jamaican schools with computers, an initiative I first encountered over 15 years ago.
