An English lady’s wardrobe at the Walker Art Gallery from 25 October 2019 to 1 March 2020 explores shopping and style in Liverpool during the interwar years. In its entirety, the Tinne Collection comprises more than 700 items, which the exhibition draws from. Kindly donated by family members in 1967 and more recently, the items range from a wool bathing suit worn by Emily Tinne during her honeymoon, to fashion magazines and paper dress patterns used by her dressmaker to create some of her outfit
