In 1973, the choir recorded the album ‘Speed Your Journey’ at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea. It featured many items from the world of Opera including ‘The Gypsy Chorus’, ‘Speed Your Journey’ and ‘The Pilgrims Chorus’, but there are also some Welsh favourites on there too. None more so than this recording of a great hymn arranged by John Tudor Davies. Conducted by John Cynan Jones and accompanied by David Bell at the organ and Jennifer Doolan on the harp this is ‘Gwahoddiad’. Translated into English
