Tropical Storm Barbara continues to weaken as it heads northwest away from land and is likely to dissipate by Wednesday.

The storms are expected to become weaker in the coming days, but another tropical depression is forecasted to form later in the week.

Tropical Storm Barbara has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane, bringing heavy rainfall to Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima and Jalisco.
