Manny Machado homered and Ryan Bergert combined with five relievers on a four-hitter as the San Diego Padres edged the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0.

Manny Machado, the first Padre to come to bat after Freddy Peralta exited the game after six innings, demolished a Rob Zastryzny four-seam fastball that caught all of the plate for a solo home run that gave San Diego a 1-0 lead.

The San Diego Padres did not have a hit through five innings against the Milwaukee Brewers, but Manny Machado came through with a solo home run in the seventh that gave the Padres a 1-0 win over the Brewers at American Family Field, Sunday.
