An Idaho sheriff's office has released body-worn camera footage showing Bryan Kohberger during a traffic stop that occurred months before he killed four University of Idaho students in 2022.

Newly released video from an August 2022 traffic stop shows Bryan Kohberger telling police he’s “obviously an honest person” three months before he brutally murdered four University of Idaho students for reasons that remain unknown.

According to the Statesman, the August traffic stop footage was going to be shown by prosecutors at trial before Kohberger entered into a last-minute plea deal on July 2. The deal allowed him to avoid the death penalty in exchange for pleading guilty to the murders and one count of burglary.
