The Baseball Hall of Fame ceremony this summer will feature the induction of five new players and each of the five will have a logo on their plaque caps. The Hall of Fame announced each cap selection on Monday. The induction ceremony this year will be Sunday, July 27.

This year’s inductees into the National Baseball Hall of Fame have made their cap logo choices for their plaques. Or, more accurately, four of the inductees have made their choices.

CC Sabathia will have a New York Yankees logo on the cap of his Hall of Fame plaque and Bill Wagner will have the symbol of the Houston Astros.

CC Sabathia, who pitched the last 11 seasons of his 19-year Major League career in New York, will be wearing a Yankees cap in his Hall of Fame plaque.

Billy Wagner will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this summer with a Houston Astros logo on his plaque, the Hall made official Monday. Wagner, the former Houston closer who was elected to the Hall last month,

Allen, who died in 2020, will be the first player to enter the Hall of Fame as a Phillie since pitcher Jim Bunning was inducted in 1996.

Recently-inducted baseball Hall-of-Famer Ichrio Suzuki will throw the first ceremonial pitch for the Seattle Mariners Opening Day against the Oakland Athletics.

"I found a home in the Bronx, and I don't think I'll ever leave this city," the southpaw said after his induction.

Dave Parker (Pirates) and Dick Allen (Phillies) will represent their longtime teams on their Hall of Fame plaques.

Ichiro Suzuki will have a Seattle Mariners logo on the cap of his Hall of Fame plaque, CC Sabathia will take the New York Yankees logo and Billy Wagner will have the symbol of the Houston Astros.
