They beat out the No. 1 Auburn Tigers and have also decimated other top-ranked opponents. Notably, Alabama also endured losses to the Missouri Tigers, Florida Gators, and Tennessee Volunteers which made their season ender against Auburn way more cathartic.

There is no shame in losing games against Missouri, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida. The Crimson Tide have even mixed in wins against #17 Kentucky and #24 Mississippi State during this stretch.
