Chinese consumer electronics giant Xiaomi has launched a new electric SUV and debuted a self-designed smartphone chip, in a push to expand beyond its roots in budget devices.

One Georgia hospital is trading PCs for Apple gear — and transforming patient care in the process. Emory Healthcare on Thursday announced its Emory Hillandale Hospital will be the first U.S. hospital powered by Apple products. The products will integrate with crucial software from Epic, the leading electronic health record vendor in the nation.
