The Smithsonian said that it would update an exhibit at the National Museum of American History to reflect all impeachment proceedings in U.S. history after a placard was removed last month.

The Smithsonian Institution on Saturday denied it was pressured by the Trump administration to remove a section of the National Museum of American History’s impeachment exhibit mentioning the two attempts to remove President Donald Trump from office.

President Donald Trump has suddenly been removed from an exhibit on presidential impeachments at the hallowed Smithsonian National Institute of American History in Washington, D.C. The Washington Post reported that mentions of Trump’s first-term impeachments have been removed from the exhibit titled, “The American Presidency: A Glorious Burden.”
