Newcastle have completed the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey. The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Magpies, who are understood to have paid an initial £39million for his services, with a further £4million due in add-ons.

The clubs had agreed an upfront fee of £39million ($52.8m) along with a further £5m in harder to achieve add-ons for the central midfielder.
