Cardinals starter Matthew Liberatore exited his Wednesday start vs. the Blue Jays feeling “better physically” after his early exit following velocity dips less than a week prior.

Early Wednesday morning, Alan Roden raced wide-eyed around a corner outside the Blue Jays’ clubhouse and nearly crashed into Davis Schneider. “Is he here?!” The two looked like 6-year-olds about to meet their favorite player.

The St. Louis Cardinals end their home stretch with a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, who have won eight of their last ten. The Cardinals (36-29) are coming off an exciting series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers and look to stay in the race with the Chicago Cubs for the top spot the NL Central.
