One of Houston's fastest-growing suburbs faces an unsettling shift-literally.

Houston gained approximately 43,000 new residents between 2023 and 2024, with its increase ranking second only to New York City, according to data released this month by the U.S. Census Bureau.

After Sunday night's storms, Houston will see briefly less humid weather before temperatures climb back toward 90 degrees later this week.
