What is the difference between DVD-R, DVD+RW, and RAM? I know someone explained to me that RAM can be rewritten a lot more times than +RW (which I'm assuming is just a rewritable DVD-R).

For the end user, there’s little difference between DVD-R and DVD+R — both are “write once” formats. DVD+RW media, meanwhile, can be reused multiple times.
