The storms have moved to the southeast, and North Texas is looking at a quieter day ahead. Morning temperatures near 70 will warm into the mid-to-upper 80s Monday afternoon as skies begin to break up. Another disturbance could bring showers and a few storms to the southwest early Tuesday morning.

More than 47,000 customers were without power Monday morning after severe thunderstorms drenched much of North Texas overnight. Power outages peaked overnight around 90,000, according to Oncor’s outage map.

Some people in North Texas are cleaning up after high winds caused damage overnight. At the Braum's in Bonham, part of the restaurant's roof was ripped off.
