A paraglider in North Dakota struck some power lines and crashed into the river below. Emergency crews responded and were able to pull the pilot from the water. Officials say the man didn’t see the power line because the sun obscured his vision.

The man was uninjured in the incident, which included a spark, a flame and a splash into the Red River after paragliding into a power line.
