The Oklahoma City Thunder say they aren't perfect. The champs' 8-0 playoff record is spotless anyway
The Oklahoma City Thunder insist they haven't been perfect during their NBA title defense. The Thunder completed their second straight series sweep of the spring Monday night when they held off the resilient Lakers 115-110 in Game 4 of the second round.
The Lakers look to stave off a sweep in Game 4 against the Thunder, who opened as 10.5-point favorites amid lopsided betting splits at BetMGM.
The Thunder will be playing the full four quarters on Monday, but they’re expected to have things wrapped up well before that. They will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers in a Western Conference semi-final at 10:30 p.m. at Crypto.com Arena.
Now that the series is headed to L.A., Oklahoma City will have to make sure the Lakers' home-court advantage doesn't mean too much.
Another pair of second-half runs in Game 3 leave the Luka Doncic-less team on the brink of elimination, and at this rate the second-round series will be over Monday night.
Los Angeles shot 13-of-20 in the second quarter and held Oklahoma City to just six free throw attempts to take a one-point lead into halftime.
