NASCAR Cup Series drivers and officials are optimistic the series will return to Iowa Speedway for years to come.

This will be just the second time the NCS has ran an event in Corn Country. While NASCAR has held many races in Iowa among its supporting series, it was not until 2024 that they brought out the big guns to one of the more intriguing tracks in the Midwest. Last season, Ryan Blaney managed to pull out a win at the 3/4-mile oval.

William Byron fought off fuel worries in the closing laps to win the NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Iowa Speedway.
