By Dan Levine and Robin Respaut NEW YORK (Reuters) -Grappling with the aftermath of a shooting that killed a police officer and left nearly 100 shattered windows, leaders at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention held virtual meetings with employees on Tuesday to rebuild trust at the agency's Atlanta headquarters.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the man who opened fire at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White of Kennesaw,

The alleged gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said, according to WSB. Patrick Joseph White, 30, had letters that showed his “discontent” with COVID-19 vaccines.
