Top seed Aryna Sabalenka slammed the door on a gutsy challenge from Emma Raducanu, who looked for a few games like she might be on track for a famous upset.

Top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka staved off an upset bid by resurgent Emma Raducanu at Wimbledon by beating the home favorite 7-6 (6), 6-4 in the third-round at a raucous Centre Court.

Raducanu, in fact, takes on Sabalenka in the final match on Centre Court today, as the young Briton and the world No 1 vie for a spot in the fourth round. Before that, on the same court, Alcaraz continues his bid for a third straight title in SW19, facing Jan-Lennard Struff.
