Guardians’ star still in Cleveland post trade deadline
CLEVELAND (WKBN) – Cleveland Guardians All-Star outfielder Steven Kwan was not dealt at the Major League Baseball trade deadline and is staying with the Guardians. Multiple published reports said that the Guardians received strong trade interest in Kwan from the Padres, Dodgers, and Astros, among other teams.
Although Bieber and Sewald will head to new scenery, the Guardians opted to keep All-Star left fielder Steven Kwan, who is under club control through 2027, despite a high amount of trade interest.
