Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Republican governor of California, has waded into the immigration debate during a forthright appearance on The View, with his remarks going viral across social media platforms.

Co-host Joy Behar asked the Austrian-born Schwarzenegger if he had a "visceral reaction" to the ICE raids and everything that was happening in L.A. The action star shared that he values America's rich history of accepting immigrants, including him, but then he added:
