New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe was not in the lineup against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday after being hit in the left elbow by Walker Buehler's pitch.

After the Yankees won their first 2025 game against the Red Sox, one that Volpe contributed a two-run homer in the five-run first in addition to his painful second-inning ribbie, he met with reporters to give an update on his elbow, which was still very swollen.
