CBS LA reporter Rick Montanez shows how flooding from a water main break in West Hollywood has caused parked cars to crash into each other near Palm Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.

Emergency crews have completely dewatered the West Hollywood sinkhole, revealing that a 25-foot section of a 110-year-old cast iron pipeline split open after its rivets failed.

Two people fell into a sinkhole that collapsed the sidewalk on Palm Avenue just south of Sunset, a witness told the Los Angeles Daily News.
