Two winter systems are coming together across the northern U.S. this week, bringing the potential for heavy snow and strong winds across the Great Lakes and Northeast.

'Numerous snow showers' continue in Vermont, bringing up to 16 inches of upslope snow
Upslope snow will create slick conditions in northern New York and Vermont on Monday, Nov. 17. The heaviest snow is expected on the northwestern slopes of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. Some higher elevations could see isolated amounts of up to 16 inches of snow.
Some areas saw nearly a foot of snow, while others, particularly those in the Champlain Valley, got hardly any snow at all.
