A heavy police presence surrounded a convenience store parking lot in Bothell early Tuesday morning after an officer-involved shooting near Thrasher’s Corner.

Mobile police are investigating an early morning shooting that left multiple people injured. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Quigley Street shortly after 2 a.m., where they found several gunshot victims.

Police say Elijah Mayo pointed a handgun at officers before they opened fire, while his father says the 26‑year‑old was trying to get away from earlier gunfire. A second, separate police shooting unfolded minutes later.

Extensive bodycam and dashcam video has been released showing an East Lansing police shooting of an Michigan State Univerisity student suspected in a serious stabbing. East Lansing police on Friday, May 15 released to the public multiple segments of video.

All parties in the suit agreed to waive a jury trial, court records show. The judgment did not reveal the amount of the settlement.
