Microsoft has confirmed the release date of Forza Horizon 6 during today's Xbox Developer Direct livestream — and there's only a few months to go.

In 2025, Microsoft paved the way for the top Xbox franchises to make the leap to Sony's PlayStation 5. Now, a report suggests that there was clear winner among the Xbox ports: Forza Horizon 5, which hit PS5 four years after its debut. Despite that gap, it reportedly outsold the next four Xbox on PS5 games even when their sales totals were combined.

Forza Horizon 6 introduces Japan, touge battles, new concept cars and expanded car culture features, marking a notable shift for the series.
