DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A bicyclist was seriously hurt in a crash in Durham Friday evening, police said. According to the Durham Police Department, officers were notified just before 6:30 p.m. about a bicyclist being struck in the area of South Roxboro Street and Heatherwood Lane.
As the man waited for first responders, a second car hit him and drove away from the scene, police said. He was later pronounced dead.
