Democratic officials voted to void David Hogg's election to vice chair on Monday, claiming a procedural error invalidated his election.

The move, which could affect Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta's vice chair positions, must be adopted by the full national body before it calls a new election.

The DNC's Credentials subcommittee recommended that the party should redo vice-chair elections because of procedural issues with how the balloting was conducted.
