President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stressed during a conversation with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen that a draft law guaranteeing the independence of Ukraine's anti-corruption institutions must be adopted as early as next week.

When news first broke that the United States and the European Union had agreed a trade deal, all we had to go on were the assurances of President Trump and von der Leyen.

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen praised Ukraine's progress in implementing reforms that will help unlock financial tranches, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Zelenskyy reported he had a conversation today with the President of the European Commission.
