For two nights this weekend, the Savannah Bananas brought their unique brand of baseball to Chicago for the first time. And fans at Rate Field got their money’s worth.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah has fully lifted the boil water advisory that was first issued Friday evening. Tests done Sunday morning confirmed that the remaining effected areas under the advisory showed no presence of coliform bacteria, and the water is safe to consume.

The Savannah Bananas played two sold-out games at Chicago’s Rate Field this week, and they had plenty of help making the trip a memorable one.

Chemically untreated splash pads in Hudson Hill, Live Oak, Victory Heights, Avondale, Hull Park, Tatemville, Forest Hills and Crusader are closed Saturday.
