Aaron Judge is dealing with elbow pain, so the New York Yankees benched the reigning AL MVP against the Philadelphia Phillies as he awaits test results.
The Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Yankees so soundly that Yankee Stadium heard Philadelphia Eagles chants.
Aaron Judge will sit out the New York Yankees' Saturday home game against the Philadelphia Phillies with "an elbow issue," manager Aaron Boone told reporters.
Judge is out for the Yankees' game against the Philadelphia Phillies Saturday due to an elbow injury, manager Aaron Boone told reporters pregame. According to Boone, Judge will undergo imaging to determine the extent of the injury. “Obviously concerned,” Boone said via Ronald Blum of the AP. “We’ll wait and see as they read the imaging.”
The Phillies also have one game scheduled to stream exclusively on the Roku Channel — their Aug. 17 matchup against the Washington Nationals. Unlike Apple TV+, which runs $9.99 a month, the Roku Channel is free to stream (and you can watch the Eagles’ Super Bowl documentary from NFL Films while you’re there).
