The Houston Texans have hired Rams passing game coordinator and tight ends coach Nick Caley as their new offensive coordinator, a person with knowledge of the move confirmed to the Houston Chronicle.

After doing their due diligence and interviewing many different candidates, the Houston Texans have made a decision about who their next offensive coordinator will be. According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport,

The #Texans have promoted Cole Popovich to offensive line coach and run game coordinator, sources say. He’ll work closely with new OC Nick Caley. Previously, Popovich was the assistant OL coach, but Houston always held him in high regard.
