Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards may have secured the win against the Los Angeles Lakers. But he also got in some trouble along the way.

In the midst of their 117–95 win over LeBron James and the Lakers on Saturday night, Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards could be seen interacting with—and making some NSFW comments towards —fans at Los Angeles's Crypto.com Arena.

Edwards had 22 points, eight rebounds and nine assists in the Timberwolves' 117-95 upset win. As Minnesota cruised toward a dominant victory, Edwards responded to antagonizers at Crypto.com Arena in the third quarter by making NSFW comments and gestures.

Minnesota dominated the final three quarters of Game 1 en route to a 117-95 win, but the Lakers are once again clear favorites in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena. Unable to contain Minnesota’s offensive attack, particularly from deep, LA saw the Timberwolves convert on 21 of their 42 attempts from 3-point range.

Coming off a week-long rest and a solid 50-32 season, the Los Angeles Lakers were surprisingly run out of the arena by the sixth-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Playoffs in the first round.
