Jets cornerback Kris Boyd is in critical condition after a shooting in New York City early Sunday morning, according to a law enforcement source.

New York Jets cornerback and special teams standout Kris Boyd was critically injured in a shooting in midtown Manhattan early Sunday, according to Mayor Eric Adams’ office.

Officers responded just after 2 a.m. to West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue, where a 29-year-old man was found shot in the abdomen, according to a police spokesman.
