The ‘Ted Lasso’ star trades the pitch for the stage in this one-night-only comedy event. Most people know Brett Goldstein as the grumpy, foul-mouthed Roy Kent from “Ted Lasso” — and fair enough, the guy crushed it.

HBO is debuting Goldstein’s first stand-up special for the network tonight; “Brett Goldstein: Second Best Night of Your Life” was filmed live in New Jersey after he toured the special nationwide throughout 2024 and 2025.
