The Houston Astros are considering adding Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa to their roster at the MLB trade deadline.

T he name Carlos Correa has been on everyone's lips lately, and for good reason. The Minnesota Twins' shortstop has been linked to a potential return to the Houston Astros, the team with which he won the World Series in MLB back in 2017.

"It hit me at first - it was hard because of my teammates, but honestly, it motivated me to be better and I knew that here I was going to have an opportunity," Diaz said through Astros' interpreter Otto Loor.

The trade market is opening up, and the Astros have become a possible trade destination for the Baltimore Orioles' starting pitcher, Trevor Rogers. Shawn Childs of SI.com proposed a mock trade that has the Astros sending minor league pitchers Miguel Ullola and Ethan Pecko in exchange for the 27-year-old Trevor Rogers.

The Astros will acquire infielder Ramón Urías from the Baltimore Orioles, as reported first by MLB.com's Jon Heyman. The Orioles will receive Single-A right-handed pitcher Twine

Ramón Urías made 66 starts at third for Orioles this season and helps fill a need because of Isaac Paredes' hamstring injury.
