The Vegas Golden Knights will not have top-pairing defenseman Brayden McNabb for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series at the Anaheim Ducks.

The Anaheim Ducks face the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5 of their second-round NHL playoff series. Anaheim tied the series 2-2 with a 4-3 victory in Game 4. Vegas is favored by 1.5 goals in Game 5. The total is set at 6 goals.

The Colorado Avalanche will play the Vegas Golden Knights or Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference Final. The Avalanche advanced to the West Final for the first time since 2022 with a 4-3 overtime win against the Minnesota Wild in Game 5 of the Western Conference Second Round at Ball Arena in Denver on Wednesday.

The Walt Disney Company sold the Anaheim Mighty Ducks to Orange Country entrepreneur and billionaire Dr. Henry Samueli and his wife, Susan, on Friday. It's been rumoured that Disney had been looking for a buyer ever since the Ducks made the Stanley Cup final in 2003.

Olen Zellweger has been excellent for the Ducks since being inserted into the lineup, and he scored a key goal despite a loss in Game 5.

Beckett Sennecke has been turning heads all season for the Ducks, and he is proving that the playoffs aren't too bright of a spotlight.
